About Me/ Company

Active Animal Carers is based in Beckenham Kent since 2010 from where I am prepared to travel and have my own transport. I love the company of dogs, cats, hamsters, birds,rabbits and horses. I was an assistant instructor in dog obedience classes for many years and have owned a total of 4 dogs,4 rabbits,4 cats, a hamster and a retired throughbred race horse. All my animals have lived to a good old age and have always been treated with love, respect and a very responsible attitude. I am a patient individual who is compassionate and reliable.

Previous Experience

Over 40 years of experience with dogs from Toy Poodle to Great Dane.Having owned dogs from puppies to old age, I have witnessed every stage of their life and I am willing to share this with you if you feel you need some assistance or advice.
I believe a good routine is essential for a dogs well being and that you need to be in control of your dog at all times.

This is taken from one of my references "Bertie is loved and looked after by Jane as if he was her own dog. I have complete trust in Jane and able to leave Bertie without worrying. Bertie is made welcome in her home and loved by the rest of the family. He is always happy to see her and greets her with his tail wagging."

Other Services

All new dogs for walks or home boarding must attend a trial familiarisation session prior to walking/ boarding which is arranged free of charge at a convenient time to both parties.
