About Me/ Company

Absent friends is a professionally run pet care business which is fully insured and all helpers are crb checked.
I have been around animals since I was very young. I have been horse riding and lucky to have my own ponies/horses for 27 years. I currently have 5 horses who I share the responsibility with my mum, any spare time I may have I fit in local competitions. I have a 3 year old male german sheppard who I have owned since he was 8weeks old. At home my parents run a boarding cattery and I help out most days, we have run the cattery for the last 3 and a half years and are fab listed. We also do rescue work for the Birman cat club and quite often have unwanted Birmans come into us for us to help them find life long loving homes. I help my mum show our Birman cats, we have been lucky and sucessful with our cats, we have bred the odd litter of kittens, all of which we have kept too!!!
I also have 4 rabbits!

Previous Experience

I have a vast amount of experience with all types of animals, ive volunteered at our local blue cross centre where I walked the dogs and cleaned out cat pens.
I worked in a showing yard for 7 years and currently freelance around a couple of small equestrian yards in my area.
I have walked all kinds of dogs from small dogs to large breeds.

Other Services

*Dog walking on an individual owned basis. I will walk 2 dogs at a time maximum from the same household. This ensures the dogs are getting the most out of there walk as well as having individual attention.

*Dog/cat home visits - daily/twice

*House sitting/pet sitting in the comfort of your pets home
