About Me/ Company

Having been made redundant recently from an office-based role, I am finally able to persue my dreams and I am returning to work with animals. I am in the process of setting up my own pet photography business, Picture Pawfect, here in Cheltenham, Glos. I also occasionally help people with dog training and behavioural issues. I have a diploma in canine psychology.

I adore walking, and have set up my own mini-rambling club. I have 4 dogs of my own, all rescues, and frequently walk friends' dogs at the same time, and we often have in tow an Animal Shelter dog that needs a home, for good measure. Hence I am used to walking, and communicating with, a large pack of dogs, both on or off leash.

I also enjoy taking photography whilst out on walks, enabling me to picture the 'natural' in an animal, rather than a posed portrait. This is something I am willing to offer as part of my services, at an additional fee. I own a digital SLR and have a 70-200mm lens that captures dogs in movement beautifully. I have also passed a Short Business Course in Intermediate Digital Photography in 2011.

Come rain or shine, our four always get three walks a day, and I would love to help somebody to fulfill that need to 'go walkies' in their dog(s), knowing that an experienced and responsible person is accompanying them. Be it on an individual walk, or a group walk (never more than 8 dogs at a time, for safety), on lead or off lead, I will ensure your pet has as good a time as possible!

Previous Experience

I have owned dogs since I was very young. I currently have 4 rescue dogs, and volunteer at Cheltenham Animal Shelter most weekends, taking out the more stressed dogs for 'chill out' time with my pack.

I also have advised various people already on behavioural and training issues, all with great success - assuming that the owners are willing to put in the time and effort, if required.

I have already taken portrait shots of many of my friends' dogs with great success. These make great Christmas Gift Voucher ideas.
