About Me/ Company

Based in North Colchester, I am a caring, friendly female in my late 30's. I ended my career in banking due to relocation of my partner to a London office. This has given me an opportunity to persue my lifes ambition to be full time with dogs.

I have had dogs since childhood and love all breeds. I am currently studying for a diploma in dog psychology and behavior. I have a 4 year old Miniature Pinscher - Ollie - who also loves all breeds of dogs, big or small. He is fun and exciting but well behaved too. I actively enjoy walking him daily - come rain or shine - in the beautiful Highwoods Country Park which is walking distance from my house. Ollie is a neutered male with a love for play and sleep. He is a very loved member of our household and is usually part of everything that goes on. I also have a18mth old Doberman Bitch - Cassie, she is full of life and loves playing with dogs her own size. She has also done obedience training and we are currently doing Ringcraft to start showing her.

Previous Experience

Owned dogs in past and present. I have looked after numerous breeds for family and friends - including Boxer, Lhasa Apso, Chihuahua, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Daschund and German Shepherd.

I am also currently building a great friendship with a German Shorthaired Pointer called Max, who I found through this site. We have daytime walks and overnights stays on a regular basis. I also walk a variety of dogs including Mini Poodle, Cocker Spaniels, Labs, Weimaraner, Dalmatian, Border Collie and a Spanish Water Dog.

Qualifications & Training

Currently studying for a qualification in Dog Behaviour (CFBA 1101). I am also awaiting a place on a Dog First Aid Course ( I do however carry a Pet First Aid Kit and Emergency Book)

Member of The Dobermann Club

Keep on top of my dogs training, currently Cassie is on a waiting list for Agility

I have a Clean Driving License and large car with crates.
Criminal Records Bureaux (CRB) Check certificate available.
Fully Insured for Dog Walking.

Relevant Info

We have a spacious 3 bed house with a good size garden situated in a secluded crescent away from any main roads. I collect dogs for walking and have harnesses and crates in my car for safety.

Other Services

I also tend to Cats on a regular basis when owners go away, feeding them, watering plants and picking up mail. This shows as well as Cats looked after, it is obvious that somebody is coming in regularly.

I also look after Rabbits and am happy to deal with any small household pets.
