About Me/ Company

My name is Phillippa Stephenson and I run PipzPawz – Pet Services.

Animals have always played a large part in my life and I have a Certificate in Higher Education of Animal Management at The Royal Agricultural University (formerly known as The Royal Agricultural College), as well as holding a National Diploma in Animal Management.

I am fully qualified with a broad understanding of various species needs and requirements. I am registered with the National Associates of Registered Pet Sitters (Narps), being fully insured and CRB checked. Certification available on request.

As an animal lover I have had my own pets including: Cats, Cold water and tropical fish, hamsters, gerbils and have cared for dogs, horses, reptiles, chickens, ducks, rabbits and guinea pigs.

I have experience in working for a Recognised Reptile Rescue centre in Kent for a number of years, caring for a variety of exotic species including Lizards, Tortoises, Terrapins, Beavers and Birds. I have spent time in South Africa caring for Lion cubs, Meerkats, Giraffes and Hyenas (to name a few).

Whilst studying for my qualifications I worked at various Kennels and Rescue Centres and have experienced the stress that can be caused for not only yourself but for your pet to be in a boarding establishment.

This is where PipzPawz comes in! Making it less stressful on your pets and yourself, knowing that your pets will be cared for by an experienced professional. I aim to provide you with a unique friendly service which I can tailor to suit your requirements.
