About Me/ Company

Hello! My name is Martyna and I would be very pleased to help you with your beloved pets :) I offer dog walking and pet sitting services in Birmingham.

To say more about me, I am nearly 30 year-old individual, passionate about animals, especially dogs, cats and little mammals.

If you choose me for your pet walker or sitter, I can assure you that it will be beneficial for both sides: your pet will be happy and safe with me, and my heart will be fulfilled with unlimited joy.

I would be able to look after your pet during the time off school, that is weekends, half-terms, holidays.

Nevertheless, before I agree to look after (especially) your dog, I will ask you a few questions to learn about her/his behaviour, for instance if your dog has no tendency to attack other animals or chase cyclists/cars and will she/he come back to me if called. Unfortunately, I will not be able to accept dogs who display aggressive behaviour towards people or other animals.

Previous Experience

As far as I remember, the people from the environment in which I have grown up used to call me 'Psia Mama' (in Polish it means 'Dogs' Mummy' :) Every single season there were always some homeless dogs wandering around, which I was looking after and I even managed to find happy homes for them :)

What is more, all my family are pet lovers, so I have been brought up surrounded by adopted dogs and cats (mainly adopted), hamsters, mice and fishes, even a rat and a python occassionally for last two years!

Until now, when I travel to visit my family and friends I enjoy doing some pet sitting favour for them and it is always a great pleasure for me to look after their four-legged family members :)

Qualifications & Training

Sadly, I do not hold a professional qualification regarding pet care and pet first aid, which I hope to gain in near future. However, as far as I have been told, I possess a qualification of Natural Gift of Love for Animals ;)

I possess a valid DBS Check (Oct 2013).

Relevant Info

Professionally, I am a qualified EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher and a linguists, and for 5 years I have been working in primary schools in Birmingham.

However, in near future I hope to enrich my skills and work for RSPCA.

One of my biggest dreams is to build and manage my own pet hostel for homeless, abandoned and neglected animals.

As a pet sitter at your house I would also be happy to look after other pets such as cats, hamsters, mice, fishes etc.
