About Me/ Company

My name is Lauren, I have recently set up my own business in the pet care industry. I am very keen when it comes to animals and love to spend time with them. Having my own young border collie, I know it can be difficult to keep them exercised around work hours. Because of this I created Walkin N Waggin, a friendly pet care and dog walking service in Swindon.

I am fully insured and offer a range of services, from one to one walking or group walks (max 4 dogs). I can also do pet feeds for all animals and pet taxi. As I have my own dog he will be coming along on any walks as long as its okay with the owner, he is a very gentle, playful pup.

Previous Experience

I have worked within a dog walking company for work experience this included walking large numbers of dogs at one time and also going to people houses to feed thier animals, play and fuss!

As I went to an Agricultural College I have been in contacted with many different animals from your everyday rabbits and guinea pigs to squirrel monkeys and meerkats.

I also have my own dog with whom I've learnt alot from. His name is Bailey, he is an 18 month old Border Collie. He is very energetic and constantly on the go. He is a very smart little lad and can work his way through most things, however being so smart can sometimes get him in trouble. He loves other dogs and all people, if they can fuss him then he loves them!

Qualifications & Training

I have a National Diploma in Animal Management that I achieved at Wiltshire College Lackham, this included many different subjects, from exotic animals to farm animals and your everday pets. It also included modules such as Animal Health and Veterinary Nursing, Behaviour and Animal Welfare.
