About Me/ Company

WHO cares for your pets when you are not able? This is an IMPORTANT question. I know. I have 2 dogs which are like my kids. First read it here, then BARK AT ME about your needs. I will COME!

When you receive a solicitation from me, via the email on this sight, it means that I carefully read over you and your pooches' situation. I write because when I feel that we might be able to work something out professionally.

A bit abut me, I am trustworthy British man, born and raised in Crawley, near Gatwick. I have my own transport.I love my part time job cleaning in schools. That means I have a very clean criminal background, by the way. I am married and have two dogs. I would love to grow the dog walking business. That is my aim. My aim is not to walk too many dogs at once to 'get rich'. My wife and I lead a simple life, with our dogs. We're at an age where we want to simplify! That means there's more time and energy for you beloved pet!

I know there are really good pet care people out there, but it's just not that easy to find them. In the past, my wife and I hired people with animal handling experience to care for our dogs. I was a firm believer in word of mouth, but I have changed my mind when it comes to my pets. What we didn't deeply look into was what sort of people they were 'in real life'. Are they known as decent people in the community? Does the pet sitter understand how much you love your animals? Do they really follow instructions with integrity? How much does the sitter really care about their own animals? Really? How do you know that? You might entrust, not only your pets, but perhaps your house keys to this person. This can get uglier than I'd ever imagined, and it did.

My wife and I had an overnight sitter whilst on holiday. We came home to bedbugs. That pet sitter knew about dogs and cats. Ahhh! Absurd! That's one of several stories. I vow not to do anything I wouldn't want. It's common sense and common courtesy. I am 52 years of age. I have old fashioned values, morals and have a fine reputation as a volunteer in my community. I pull my well fitting trousers all the way up!

Perhaps you would allow me to come around or meet you in a public place if you would feel more comfortable,to see if your pets, yourself and I are a good match! I believe in testing the waters with your beloved furry friend. I will not take a job that I do not feel confident about. This is not all about the money involved. It's about having some fun and staying calm and assertive with Fido!

Professional notes: I have 2 years of professional dog walking experience, and right along I've done cat sitting. I've had dogs of my own for longer than that. I will listen to your needs and follow your instructions and advice thoroughly. That's what's important to me as a dog owner. I will give you regular reports and will report to you immediately any unusual changes or behaviours. I will do everything possible to keep your dogs safe whilst giving them the proper exercise and discipline they individually require. I will be happy to clean them if they get dirty on a rainy day! I have one client who gets a hot shower after a muddy walkies, and I certainly have been tempted to get in there with him!

My experience is practical. I continue to research dog handling and house pet care, giving myself on ongoing education using many types of valuable learning tools. I network with vets, groomers and breeders.
