Details:
Need a playful, chatty, experienced and fit dog walker to take my 4 year old Shar Pei, Rory on mini adventures. Monday-Thursday for one hour.
I love my dog and need someone reliable and trustworthy.
You will not find a more loving or fun dog in the world. He's just waiting for the right new friend to take him out and about. Sometimes with me (mum) along for the walk as well. I have an electric wheelchair and love to join him
Rory has come a long way in the last year. He's learned to socialize nicely with other dogs, his recall has much improved and he's just started having a bit of off lead time. With the right dog walker, we'd like to continue working on these things, slowly but surely. As he's eager to please and listens beautifully.
You'd be quite welcome to bring another calm dog on the walk, as my other dog walker already does this. You can expect Ro might have a little growl, then he'll ignore his companion dog! Still, it's all good practice for him. Ro adores to run fast onlead, so someone fit is preferred. Short sharp sprints are a big fave, as is a bit of hill climbing!
It should be noted, that Rory is a strong boy with a stubborn streak. When he has had enough, he will let you know.and start to walk home! Particularly if startled by sudden loud sounds. I must insist that he needs loving handling AT ALL TIMES.
