Details:
We are looking for a family home for Candy whilst we are away on holiday. She is a 7 year old cav, extremely easy going and loves children. She is a lap dog, and ideally we would like to find her a family who will be around with her quite a bit. She likes attention! She is fine around other dogs, but probably not cats. Ideally she will enjoy a couple of short walks each day, an occasional trip to the forest. She needs a secure garden as she tends to wander off if left to herself. She never goes far, but is not very road-wise.
Candy is a bit of a scavenger for food. Her diet is quite strict, as cavs put of weight easily and that shortens their life. We need a family who will not over indulge her, although she is hard to resist, so that is easier said than done.
Candy is used to staying with the same person while we are away. She has never been homesick, but this is untested with a new family . We think she will be fine as she is generally easy going
All in all she is a lovely family pet and we are seeking a dog loving home to care for her.
