About Me/ Company

Hi, I live in Derby City and would be willing to travel about 20miles to
any Dog Walking jobs offered, I have a car..
I recently had to give up my full time job as a drug support worker to care for my mum as she was diagnosed with an illness.
Criminal checks are not a problem due to my past professional life.. Personal references are also not a problem. I have lived in Derby City for most of my life. I currently have no dogs and two cats..I thoroughly enjoy walking and would really like to incorporate dog walking into my walks, so I thought I would give this site a go. Its also nice to have a friend to walk with :) UPDATE** Due to adding my profile to this site I am now walking SKYE a gorgeous Jackechu, we walk Monday Tuesday and Wednesday...We are both really enjoying it...Thanks to this site... and Lucy the owner :)

Previous Experience

I have owned dogs in the past, unfortunately they died of old age I am an avid dog lover/animal lover.
I used to work at the RSPCA and the ARK in Derbyshire. I have no formal qualifications regarding dog walking, and I am a bit unsure as to what those qualifications would be, but I love dogs and walking :)

Qualifications & Training

lots of past work experience and qualifications but none linked to dog walking :) I have worked as a drug support worker for 12 years, I have a BSc in psyschology and many other qualifications and have worked in health services in UK prisons (Fosten Hall, Sudbury, Nottingham). I have proof of all the above.

Relevant Info

I have put £7.00 per dog walk, minimum 1 and half hour walk!. But I would actually be willing to negotiate and would also be willing to walk your dog for free if the money was a problem for you. Maybe you are an elderly person who needs help or maybe you are disabled and may need someone to walk your dog. I just love walking and cannot have a dog of my own so if anyone is out there please get in touch :)
