About Me/ Company
My name is Debra and my company is called Hotel for Pets. I'm based at Hoghton, Lancashire in the heart of the Ribble Valley and I offer a range of pet services - home boarding for dogs, luxury kennels and cattery, pet sitting, dog walking, doggie day care.
My Hotel for Pets also offers accommodation for a range of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, ferrets, mice, rats, birds and hens!! My Hotel for Pets is based at my home which is set in seven acres of woodland on the edge of the countryside - plenty of long (and short) walks for dogs.
I only home board a maximum of three dogs - discounts for dogs from same household.

My kennels and cattery are small scale - just five dogs and four cats - so that they all receive plenty of attention. I have a large secure run and will take dogs out for walks twice a day in the surrounding woodland and countryside.
I am licensed by the local council and have full insurance cover.
Previous Experience
I have been home boarding dogs for over five years and most of my clients come for their holidays year after year.
I love pets and have two dogs of my own, four cats and eighteen hens.
Qualifications & Training
I have a first aid certificate for dogs and cats.
I have a degree in Geography (so we don't get lost on dogs walks!!), a masters degree in Wildlife Biology & Conservation (so I understand animal behaviour) and I taught sixth form for 15 years (so I enjoy teaching dogs various skills!!).
I have an enhanced CRB check.
Other Services
In addition to pet sitting I can also offer home owners a basic garden tending service while they're away - I'll mow the lawn, water greenhouse plants, baskets and tubs. I can also take in the post and put lights on/off for security.
