About Me/ Company

My name is Helen Rhead and I am based in Chobham near Woking. I started Fit & Fed 10 years ago, offering a personalised, professional dog walking and petcare service, working in a 5 miles radius from Chobham.
I trained with the PDSA as a vetrinary nurse and have kept up tio date in animal first aid.
My husband Mark Burnie, a retired school teacher is now helping me -and keeping fit himself in the process!
If you chose to employ us, then you know that we are looking after your pets ourselves and that their health and safety is our first concern.
Our reputation is important to us and we do not employ any agents who may have less experience and different standards.
We are fully insured and walk up to 6 dogs at any time, for between 45 minutes and one hour (plus pick-up/drop off time), so they can socialise, exercise and have fun!!
As puppies and active dogs sometimes need a little more, we can offer a daycare service if required, and we do offer holday boarding in our home for dogs we know will 'fit in'.

Previous Experience

We have both been involved with dogs all our lives ,and I worked as a veterinary nurse for the PDSA.
I train and compete my own working Golden Retrievers
to a very high statndard in gundog events.

Qualifications & Training

As an ex-PDSA veterinary nurse I carry a first aid kit in my car and I know how to use it.

Some pets are happier being cared for at home while you are away. We will do my best to ensure your pets' health and welfare while you are away.
References are available from existing clients upon request. we do not employ agents and care for all ou clients' animals as if they were my own.
