About Me/ Company

Walkies with Lynne is a professional service offering dog walking, dog boarding, doggy daycare, rabbit boarding and a self-service dog washing facility.

All pets are treated with the care and kindness they deserve.

Walkies with Lynne endeavours to take on dogs that are good natured, sociable and well behaved. If dogs display aggressive, unsociable or excessive humping behaviours they are not allowed into the Service. The happiness and wellbeing of each dog is a priority. New dogs take part in a Trial Period before being accepted into the Service. Compatibility is vital.

Bitches in season or due to come into season cannot be boarded or taken out on group walks.

Bathing a dog can be a messy business. Walkies with Lynne may have the perfect solution; A purpose built self-service bathing facility.

The bathing facility consists of a Professional Dog Grooming Bath, Blaster Dryer, Shampoos and Conditioner, Freshly Laundered Towels, Brush and Comb, Apron and Rubber Gloves.

Previous Experience

Having worked for 14 years as a teacher I decided it was time for a complete change. I have always loved dogs and when I was young, had a wonderful Cairn Terrier called Benji. He was a great little character and was with us until a ripe old age.

We have a puppy called Bonnie and she is the latest addition to our family. Bonnie is a second generation Goldendoodle and we brought her home on October 14th.

I have a keen interest in dog training and understanding dog behviour. I have been using Victoria Stilwell's Positive Training Techniques on Bonnie and she has done remarkably well.

We have two rabbits called Cookie and Monty and they live in our hall. They are not caged and if you come to visit you will see them pottering about. Thanks to lots of training, at 13 weeks of age Bonnie was able to walk past the rabbits without chasing them. A fantastic achievement!

Bonnie loves to come out on walks with the Walkies with Lynne dogs and I would say that being a dog walker and looking after pets is my dream job.

I am trustworthy, conscientious and reliable. Character references can be provided. I have been police checked, am fully insured and have a clean driving licence.
