About Me/ Company

Hi! My name is Kim.

My business is twofold - dog walking and a busy animal behaviour consultancy.

I spend part of my time working as an animal behaviourist. This involves helping owners overcome unwanted and difficult behaviour in their pets, in particular cats and dogs. Animal behaviour is regulated by the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) and I have worked for several years to attain my full membership.

The rest of my time is spent providing additional dog services such as dog walking, training and socialisation.

Unlike many dog walkers, I guarantee that your dog will either be walked alone (if this is your preference), or in a group with no more than 2 other suitably matched dogs. This ensures that your dog receives the appropriate individual attention and stimulation to make its session a fun and rewarding experience.

Walks and other sessions last for a minimum of one hour and discounts are provided for block bookings, multi-pet households and twice daily walks.

As a behaviourist, I specialise in eradicating anxiety, stress and aggression. Additionally, I provide advice on integrating new pets into your home to hopefully prevent such behaviours arising at all.

I am passionate about dogs and have owned dogs all my life. I understand the difficulties of juggling a busy life with providing the best care for your beloved pets. I am committed to providing the very best care for your dog on those occasions when you are busy.

I am happy to tailor packages to suit your and your dog's individual needs - just give me a call (0778 654 6260) or e-mail.

Previous Experience

I am a very experienced dog walker, trainer and behaviourist. I have over 20 years experience in dealing with a wide variety of dog breeds, each with their own special and individual needs. These range from tiny Teacup Chiwahwahs to giant Great Danes, from bouncy Border Collies to wilful Weimaraners.

I have spend three years studying for a postgraduate degree in Animal Behaviour Counselling from the University of Southampton. During my time at Southampton, I gained a wealth of behaviour, training and handling experience with companion animals, but primarily dogs and cats. I was fortunate enough to gain first hand experience with even the most challenging cases.

Additionally, I am a full member of the prestigious Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC). I have spent many years helping the owners of dogs and cats that have training and behaviour problems to overcome their difficulties.
