About Me/ Company

Hi I live in Essex and have had dogs all my life from my 20's until now( and I am now in my late 40's!!). I now have a Siberian Husky (Kodi) and a Border Collie (Megan)
I have had a X-collie (Ben) who lived until he was 18 yrs., a X-collie (Megan) who lived until she was 16 yrs, a Belgian Shepherd (Rahna) and a German Shepherd (Toga). All my dogs have been rescue animals and both my husband and I adore animals and have also had several hamsters over the years. I am at my happiest around animals and can offer you a dog walking service or a pet-sitting service where your pet will be treated as one of the family. My sitting rates are negotiable and dependant upon requirements.

Previous Experience

i am very experienced with Dogs, having had a dog since I was in my early 20's (I am now in my late 40's!!!). I attended dog classes with Ben my first dog who I got from a rescue centre when he was only 13 weeks old. My dog Megan used to attend hydrotherapy as due to her age she had muscle wastage so I have had experience of dogs of varying ages and with varying illnesses and needs.

I have puppy sat for a friend and helped bring up a beautiful litter of French Bulldogs.

I have also helped out friends by looking after their cat in their home on several occasions whilst they have been on holiday but this was not staying full time with the cat (as they only lived next-door) but popping in and out throughout the day and feeding and playing with the cat as well as sorting out litter trays etc.
I have, through this site, now got an 11 year old beautiful Cocker Spaniel to walk and she often stays, a lovely Staffie cross who is so soft, he often stays and I walk him and recently have now got a lovely little Jack Russel boy to walk and stay. I have been looking after a little Yorkie for a lady who was rushed to hospital and she has been with us 3 weeks (but this is being done as a favour as the lady had collapsed and has not family)

Qualifications & Training

I love animals
Have looked after and walked other peoples' dogs.
I have puppy sat a new born litter of French Bulldogs
Have an affinity with animals.
At some time or another most of my dogs have required medication, treatment etc and I am very experienced in giving dogs meds when required.
I am also happy to pop in and feed your cat whilst you are away, should you so wish.

I have ful comprehensive pet walking & sitting liability insurance which covers public liability, care, custody, control, key loss, home-sitting.
I have enhanced CRB checks.
I own a car and will travel
I live near the sea and also a lot of country walks. Will walk anywhere owners wish.
I have walked friends dogs
I work within the caring profession with people but would like to do more with animals as well, that is why I have chosen to offer my services for dog walking and sitting. My husband and I have had friends' dogs stay for holidays when either friends have gone on holiday for a couple of weeks or whilst they visited relatives for meals, Christmas etc.

PET SITTING also. (My home or your home)

I would love to help someone out by looking after their pet in my home whilst they are on holiday or attending a function, or whatever reason. My dogs are very welcoming and are friendly with other dogs coming into our home. (They are loving having the little Yorkie to stay with us at the moment and are gentle with her)

We have a lot of hamster cages, tubes, trails etc which could be utilised and therefore would happily look after a hamster or mouse or similar for holiday periods.

My sitting rates are negotiable and dependant upon requirements


My dog walking is £8 - £10 per hour.
