About Me/ Company

Hi - I'm Susie and I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse in the west midlands.

The main part of my business is dog behaviour advice, but I also offer a dog walking service. Most of the dogs I regularly walk with are very high energy or ''naughty'' out of control dogs, and the owners are unable to walk them themselves! Often they have been through several dog walkers when they come to me! (as the dog walkers refused to take them again!) but I see them as a fresh opportunity to give good behavioural correction and make the owners and dogs lives more harmonious!

I also offer nail cliping, bathing in your own home, jogging with dogs and a dinnertime 'pop in' service.

Previous Experience

I have been working with animals professionally since 1993, and spent 10 years of that time as a Veterinary Nurse in practice.
I also have experience with cattle, pigs and horses, but do not offer the care of these into everyday work.
I have also worked at Shugborough Park farm in Staffordshire and Admaston (Staffordshire) Dog Kennels.
I began my own business in 2002 when I left Veterinary Practice.
I currently have 15 regular dogs on my books along with some occasional customers and I love my job!
I have run several dog weight watchers clinics along with puppy parties in my time.
I can advise on dog weight loss, general health, nutrition and exersice of your pet.
I also help customers decide on the right type of pet for their family should they require help.

NVQ LEVEL 1 ANIMAL CARE obtained 1993
NVQ LEVEL 2 ANIMAL CARE obtained 1994
V.N Qualification from the ROYAL COLLEGE OF VETERINARY SURGEONS 1996.
Pet Health counsellor Level one and two from Waltham centre of excellence.

Relevant Info

As a family we have a boingy Hungarian Viszla called Shaney who is lots of fun and often comes to work with me when my customers ask for a dog to play with their dog. She is all about ''hellos!'' and play play play!
