About Me/ Company
I am a 20 year old design student at Central St Martins university who has lived in london my whole life.
Ive grown up constantly surrounded by dogs, mostly lurchers as this is a breed my family adores! My family currently own 2 lurchers and one black labrador, but my parents decided to move to gloucestershire last year, so don't see them very often which breaks my heart. I just love the company of dogs and I always find that they warm to me very quickly.
I only have college 3 days a week from 10.30 till 4.00, giving me plenty of time to do walks and dog sitting. I am a very out doorsy kinda person and love going for strolls in hampstead heath in my spare time.
During long holidays i can also bring dogs up to gloucestershire were my parents live, were they can enjoy the forests of dean and become friends with moss, ivy and willow (my 3 dogs).
Previous Experience
As i said before I've grown up surrounded by lurchers, who are known for their misbehaving! I attended many puppy classes with my parents so know how to keep control, I'm used to my lurchers causing mischief and have learnt over the years how to discipline in a completely non-violent manner. At the end of the day all a dog wants is love, exercise and food!
I previously used to live in west london with my parents and during that time i frequently looked after a yorkshire terrier and a blond labrador, both for short periods (1 or 2 nights) and long periods such as the christmas holidays (2 weeks or more).
Im also wary of other dogs as i used to walk my lurchers/labrador in wormwood scrubs when i lived in west london. This is a park full of untrained pit bulls and I've always made sure nothing violent happens as it frequently does in those kind of parks!
Qualifications & Training
I went and volunteered for 2 months at an animal sanctuary in namibia called Naankuse. This was an amazing life experience which involved feeding cheetahs, leopards, baboons and lions daily. I learnt how to look after so many different animals with the most satisfying being the wild dogs (african painted dogs) which are almost extinct.
Other Services
I am also an experienced baby sister and have lot of experience looking after children seeing as i have a 13 year old sister who i have helped look after most of my life.
