About Me/ Company

I am a reliable and trustworthy lady dedicated to providing excellent care when looking after pets, usually whilst house-sitting. When I became semi-retired I decided to take a long trip to visit my daughter in New Zealand, where I started to house and pet-sit... and I thoroughly enjoyed it! When I came back to the UK I decided to start my own business, safe ‘n secure. I am interested in expanding my business to walking and caring for dogs too.

With 16 years’ experience of caring for my own dogs and cats I have an understanding of how important the love and attention animals need. I would love to assist you by walking and spending time with your dog(s).

Previous Experience

• 16 years’ experience with three beautiful Irish Setters including the grooming and trimming in preparation for dog shows.
• SPCA (New Zealand) volunteering as dog-walker during my stay.
• Volunteering at Foal Farm, Kent - animal rescue centre (UK), within the kennels and catteries.

Other animal care:
• Eastern Bay of Plenty (NZ) Riding school for the disabled – all necessary duties in looking after the horses before, during and after the children’s classes.
• House/Pet sitting for various families in New Zealand including dogs, cats, horses and even geese and chooks.

Qualifications & Training

• Dog handling and obedience training.
• Show ring classes.
• Showing with my third dog qualifying for Crufts (Irish Setters that I once owned).
• I have excellent references in various voluntary roles and house-sitting jobs I have done.
• I have confirmation of a clear Police Check which I obtained in November 2010.

Dog walking from £12 - per hour
Additional dogs £6 each - per hour

Cat pampering and feeding £10 - per hour
Additional cats £5 each - per hour

House-sitting £35 per day (Local to Surrey £25) 24 hr security
Plus one dog £10 per day

Other Services

Many pet owners decide to not put their dogs and cats into kennels/catteries, instead having their house looked after while the pets stay in familiar surroundings. I am available for house-sitting which can be a real ease of mind whilst you cannot be at home with your pets, whether it be for a day or a break away.
