About Me/ Company
I'm Rob, I've been working with animals for most of my adult life in one form or another - from boarding/quarantine kennels to dog-sitting, to clipping a goats hooves. I'm passionate about animal welfare and bring that with me when it comes to taking care of your dogs.
I decided to start London Dog because I've ambitions on working as a dog behaviourist. I've waited and waited, kept saying it was because I needed the money to be financially stable, but I decided finally to make the plunge and do what I enjoy!
I try to walk dogs individually or in pairs where possible and feel this is a better experience for myself and the dogs than carrying as many leads as humanly possible.
Previous Experience
After GCSE's I took an Animal Care NVQ level 2 and insisted that I would work with animals in one form or another. My course had working on a city farm and at a boarding/quarantine kennels where I dealt with a vast range of animals and was in my element.
I've also independantly funded a Dog Warden course (local councils use the same training for their guys) in a hope of securing work within animal welfare and may go in this direction in tandem to working as a behaviourist in the future.
I've also worked alongside a Dog Whisperer who inspired me to take up the work of dog behaviour by showing me how dog-friendly Jan Fennell's Amichien Bonding technique is.
Qualifications & Training
Animal Care NVQ Level 2
Animal Warden Programme
SIA door supervisor license (relevant to house sitting/dog sitting)

Other Services
Dog Walking - £10
I walk your dog/visit your dog while you're at work, if you're not well, or whatever the situation is. I can keep a spare key (no extra charge) or arrange to collect a spare key from a neighbour. I'm very flexible about arrangements and try to tailor my services to you and your dog.
Dog/Pet Sitting - £25 a day
I also dog sit - this is only in your home where your dog is most comfortable as I don't have the facilities to board dogs with me. I am SIA licensed (security), I've also been CRB cleared (criminal record - clean slate).
House visits - £10 per visit
I visit your home and feed your animals (birds, small animals, reptiles, fish, cats) and even water plants and change bedding/litter trays as needed. I'll usually spend an hour or allow for an hour alotted time. Spare key arrangement as above.
Dog Behaviour advice - Free with above services or £25 for a consultation
