About Me/ Company

I am a lover of most domestic animals, not just dogs and my experience comes mainly from looking after/sitting/walking and training my friends' dogs over the years.
My most recent achievement was training my friend's unruly American Staffie while I was in Australia for a couple of months.
I discovered that the techniques I use in the classroom with very young children work equally as well on dogs- lots of praise, repetition and positive reinforcement!
I specialise in larger, more active breeds and am fit enough to keep up with even the most liveliest of doggies.
I am very park and street-aware when walking dogs and am also very much aware of rules around the house- making sure that I learn each dog's particular routines and commands to ensure continuity.

I am new to the dog walking/sitting business and therefore offer very competitive rates while I build up a strong client base.

Previous Experience

I have grown up around dogs all of my life and as a teenager went to training schools with various dogs to learn all of the obedience skills for both dog and owner.
My experience has always been voluntary until recently, but since I seem to have a way with dogs, it seemed sensible to take things further and offer my skills on a professional basis.

I am mostly used to larger, more energetic breeds of dog but have also house-sat for a fair few poodles in my time as well.

My most recent achievement was training a seemingly untrainable American Staffie to walk to heal and sit automatically at road crossings.

Qualifications & Training

I am a qualified and experienced teacher with all the relevant qualifications.
Although I do not possess any formal qualifications with regards to animals, my life time experience of being with dogs and my excellent behavioural management skills gained as a teacher make me an ideal candidate as a responsible, attentive and excellent walker/sitter.

I am very aware of all the major signs of illnesses and am always incredibly vigilant when spending time with an animal to watch for any early signs of illness.
I can do many basic first aid procedures should your pet display even the slightest sign of being out of sorts.
I will always ensure that I stick to your pet's schedule to the letter so that he or she has complete continuity of lifestyle and rules!
