About Me/ Company
I am a young, but experienced individual based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, with a good level of education in working with all sorts of animals, from dogs to exotic animals such as reptiles, and invertebrates. I am a friendly and polite individual, who always brings a positive frame of mind to working with animals.
Previous Experience
I have previously worked with many different species of animals, providing diets, and full husbandry needs for that individual. I have experience with handling and restraint of different species, and also have knowledge in the behavioural aspects of dogs, and also basic experience in training of dogs. I have been a student in animal management for the past 3 years, learning many different aspects of looking after a variety of species, and how to take care of them correctly, and to a good quality standard. I have been dog walking for a family for the past 3 and a half years, walking their adult springer spaniel, and more recently, their juvenile springer spaniel.
Qualifications & Training
Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care at Distinction level.
Level 2 Certificate in Countryside and Environment at Merit level.
ABC Level 3 Certificate in Practical Animal Care Skills.
Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management at Distinction level.
NPTC Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of Veterinary Medicines.
Relevant Info
As a result of working with a variety of different species, I am happy to, and able to work with any different animal, no matter what species, meaning that if there are more animals as well as dogs to be taken care of, then I am capable of doing so to a good quality standard.
Other Services
As well as dog walking, I also provide day care, or holiday care to dogs, and other animals, domestic or exotic species, at the owners home only, as I do not have the facilities to do so at my house. This will allow the animals to be more relaxed by staying in their own home, and dependant on what the owner prefers, I can either stay in their home, or only come in to check on, feed and water and walk their animals.
