About Me/ Company

Hi, I am a responsible , sensible lady who would just love to love your dog iI am an animal lover,enjoying the company of dogs especially. I like to walk, any weather,and like the company of a dog whilst out enjoying the fresh air.I always pick up poo,and would bring my own bags etc.I am mobile.I will clean and dry any wet/dirty dogs on my return.If you require grooming I am happy to see this as part of the service.I will always let you know how your dog was that day and any concerns I have or indeed any nice stories we may have.

Previous Experience

We I have almost always had a family pet dog (Welsh Corgi's, Welsh collie, greyhound) and know what a dog can add to life. I also know some of the problems of owning a dog, and realise due to work commitments etc they can't always be given the attention and company they need.This may be where I could help I have years of experience looking after my own dogs ( and a whole variety of other pets along the way) Several years ago I dog walked a neighbours pet, this grew into her being with me all day, whilst her owners were working.She was very happy in my home ,and became a member of our family essentially.I looked after her whilst she was terminally ill, very sad, but she knew she was loved, indeed we loved her like she was ours. I have cat sat for several friends and I looked after a friends dog in my home whilst they were away for a fortnight.With respect to your house, I have done cleaning for people where I have needed to be given keys,so if your not there that wouldn't be a problem.I can provide references as to trustworthiness etc

Qualifications & Training

I have enrolled on a Pet First Aid course in November,which I am very excited about.I just passed a basic dog care course and will follow that up with a cat care qualification. I have also enrolled with the P.D.S.A on one of their courses on dog welfare. I thought doing some courses would help me to offer prospective clients further skills and will increase my dog knowledge, rather than relying on previous experience alone. Already I feel like I am benefiting from the courses, having started to learn about certain dog ailments. I am looking forward to leaning much more as I go along.
