I am physically disabled with crutches so I am unable to walk my Poppy pup without her pulling me over! I would love to be able to take the walk along with the walker, throwing Poppy a ball to catch, getting excercise with her, etc, rather than just sitting indoors and waiting for the dog walking to be done. She will need to be walked every day, for a minimum of half an hour, but hopefully for an hour, dependent on pricing.
She is medium-sized and quite a puller, due to her previous owner giving her no training. I am hoping she will learn not to pull! She has an anti-pull harness that I use, which helps. I use a clicker and treats to click and treat when she is well behaved. She does sit to the command "sit" at ALL roads and await the "walk" command to move, even if there are no cars coming.
This job will be short-term or long-term, depending on how my disability is handled/fixed/not-fixed and whether she is able to learn not to pull. I may give bonus pay for improvements in behaviour!!! Thank you for your interest!
