Calling all dog lovers!
We are an honest, reliable, professional company who are totally mad about pets. We love animals, and so should you. We are a growing business & have a great client base and great pets that all need our love and care whilst their owners are away.
We are looking for applicants with a knowledge and passion for animals (especially dogs). You must have a full UK driving license that has been held for at least 5 years and own your own vehicle which needs to be suitable for the transportation of dogs. The cost of running your vehicle (such as fuel) will not be reimbursed.
Ideal candidates will be flexible, friendly and have previous experience of walking dogs either on their own or in a groups
You will typically work up to 2-3 hours per day to start with between 8am & 3pm, inclusive of the lunch time period, Monday to Friday (including school holidays) on a part time basis. You will be required to work some weekends.
Work will involve collecting dogs from clients homes, travelling to safe open spaces, walking in a small group with no more than 3 dogs, ensuring that the dogs are safe, meeting clients before an assignment.
Workloads will be tailored to individual needs and availability.
You will work on a self-employment basis and will be required to send an invoice each month, pay your own tax and National Insurance and provide a current Basic Disclosure Certificate. (£25)
Because this is a self-employed role there will be upfront expenses after trial such as attending a local First Canine Responder Course (£65)
YOU must be an experienced dog owner (past or present)
YOU must be extremely flexible.
YOU must be able to demonstrate the ability to look after and handle dogs
YOU must be willing to walk in all weathers
YOU must have own transport (car or van) is essential (happy to carry dogs in your own vehicle.)
A genuine love of animals is essential
Would suit someone who enjoys walking the outdoors, and being part of a growing team.
You must have car insurance for business use.
