As a Family Business, (offering a Personal Service), we are not a Franchise and not part of a Big Team, so you will always meet us and know who is entering your home, (or business) and taking good care of your much loved pets.

When you cannot be home for your beloved pets, (because of work, holiday or other obligations), you need them to be taken care of with the same love and attention you give them. That is exactly what we will do for you. For us, looking after animals is our Great Passion and we are dedicated.

"I am Joanne Phillips (the founder of JMP Petsitting) and live in Bray, Maidenhead, Berkshire with my husband and daughters. We are totally passionate about ALL pets and their care and welfare"

I was born and raised in Taplow and attended schools in Burnham. After School I achieved a LONDON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE DIPLOMA in Business Studies at Windsor and Maidenhead College.

At the age of 17 I started work as a Secretary/PA for a Managing Director of a large local company. I travelled the UK to meetings and had constant interaction with the public and the business side of the Company. I worked within this role for many years and then when our daughters were small I went on to work as a Carer for the Elderly and also a Carer for Special Needs, (whilst giving support to their families).

I enjoyed both professions as I have always had a strong head for business and get great satisfaction through helping people. However, to work with animals has always been my great passion for as long as I can remember. My Grandparents owned a Cattery and Kennel (and also enjoyed helping Rescue Animals), so it is in my genes and I feel has been passed on through me to make a difference. My husband Peter and our daughters share the same passion and also enjoy being hands-on with the animals.

For 30 years I have obtained valuable experience within Animal Welfare, Animal Care and Animal Behaviour, (having been continually involved with many Animal Organisations and Charities). I have worked with cats and dogs from difficult backgrounds for the RSPCA, TVAW, Cats Protection, Hope Rescue and Labrador/Retriever Rescue - both as a Volunteer and also as a Fosterer. Animal Psychology has always been of great interest to me whilst working with Rescue Animals and training feral cats I have also found extremely rewarding.

To start my own Pet Sitting Business was always my goal and ambition. In January 2000 I achieved my goal and now run a very successful Pet Sitting Business called JMP Petsitting. I value us as a family business offering a friendly and personal service. Caring for animals is our shared family passion!

Since founding my Pet Sitting Business I have also specialised and trained in Canine Psychology and Clicker Training. I have an OCN qualification in Canine Psychology through The Animal Care College, Ascot.

Services are personal, flexible and are arranged on a daily or ad hoc basis, (either during the week or at weekends and holidays). I offer honest, reliable pet care and we give animals both the physical and mental stimulation that they need, along with love and total care.
