About Me/ Company

Highworth Pet Care is a small company owned by myself Nicola Dangerfield. I provide a range of pet care services for Dogs, most small Animals, Horses & domestic livestock.

The company ethos is based on providing professional services for your pets whilst also remaining focused on you the client and meeting your needs.

Animals are my passion in life and whether you have a prized pedigree or a Heinz 57, I will love & care for them just as you do.

I offer Dog walking, licensed Home Boarding (yes you do need 1, ask to see mine!), Pet Taxi, puppy assessments and visits, pop in services and relief visits for oldies and sick pets.

I am fully insured and Police checked for your security and confidence with a valid CRB certificate. Registered with NarpsUK

Previous Experience

I have owned dogs for over 35 years and am experienced in all aspects of their care.

I have owned an array of Terriers, Spaniels & Labradors over the years. Currently, we have a rescued Labrador bitch called Beth & a young Labrador x Flat Coat Retriever called Millie (Cover photo).

We have been established for just over 1 year, and in that time have gained a large client base for all of our services and have many happy customers, both canine and human.

Our girls welcome dogs into are home and seem to know instantly whether our guests want to play or sit back and relax.

We live in a beautiful part of the world with wide open spaces and the Ridgeway on our doorstep.

Qualifications & Training

I am qualified as a nurse and have worked widely within the N.H.S, although not for some time.
I have updated my skills however by becoming fully qualified in Dog First Aid and I carry a kit whenever and wherever I provide services.

I have also completed a pet sitting business course through the professional organisation Narpsuk to whom I belong.

I have level 1 and 2 NVQ in Horse Care & Management

10 years experience of assessing dogs for a registered animal charity that are coming into rescue and vetting potential homes for suitability.

Over the years, I've gained a wealth of practical experience in all aspects of animal care. I am especially good with dogs, and rescued dogs in particular with whom I have great infinity .

I'm happy to take on any breed of dog, large or small and can offer both short or long term care to meet all of your needs.

I pride myself on being good with both owners and animals and genuinely want to help others while pursuing my dream of working with animals full time.

Other Services

Labrador Rescue is of the utmost importance to me and I shall continue to do this in my spare time. We cover mainly the South West of the UK.

I am also involved in local missing pets.

I regularly look after Small Holdings & care for Piggies, Horses, Turkeys, Chickens, Ducks and a ferret
