About Me/ Company
My name is Gemma King and I am 27. I have had animals ever since I was little. I have owned dogs and cats for the last 20 years. My love for looking after animals made me want to be a veterinary nurse, and I got the opportunity in my early 20's, but unfortunatly the constant night duties and being on call took its toll, it wasn't for me, so I went to university. For my summer job during uni, I set up my own house sitting buisness. I stayed in people's homes and looked after their pets while they went on holiday; some of the animals I looked after had certain medical conditions.
Previous Experience
2005-2006 - Trainee Veterinary Nurse - Pearce Stewart & Partners, Vet patrice - Cranbrook, Kent.
2007-2009 - 'Pet's holiday at house' (My business) - House Sitting/Dog Walking. this was a summer job while I was at home. (Here are a couple of my house sitting)
- A small holding - Sheep, Geese, Chickens, Dogs and Cats.
- 3 Cairn Terriers, a Boreder Collie and a Cat.
- A blind cocker spaniel called Snoopy, his labrador companion Twiz and their Ginuee pigs.
