Doggie Daycare is East Lothian’s premium pet care provider.

Founded as a passion in 2004, Doggie Daycare has evolved to meet the growing needs of its client-base and has now developed into a professional, quality aniamal care provider.
We provide safe, stimulating and structured care for your pet, enabling them to play & learn during their time with us. We are dedicated to making your life easier by reinforcing good behaviour whilst taking amazing care of your pet. All the doggies and cuddlies in our care will have been exercised, socialised, stimulated, loved and relaxed before home time.
A variety of specialised services are available for your doggies and small animals to ensure that they are properly cared for when you aren’t able to.
We are a professional team of animal lovers, qualified as a Canine Communicator with Jan Fennell the Dog Listener, fully insured with specialist Pet Industry insurance, referenced by clients and checked by Disclosure Scotland for complete peace of mind.

Previous Experience

Joanna successfully attended a residential course in Canine Communication run by Jan Fennel "The Dog Listener" in 2004.

Doggie Daycare ensures that all their staff are first and foremost animal lovers who care deeply about the safety and well-being of all the animals in their care.
We are all experienced animal handlers, having lived with and reared many dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and hens over the years.

Training and support is ongoing on a daily basis.

Relevant Info

Joanna Stewart was a Staff Nurse RSCN at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh where she worked for 16 years prior to establishing Doggie Daycare in 2004.

All staff are insured with specialist Pet Industry Insurance, Disclosure Scotland checked and fully referenced.
