About Me/ Company

Hi, Im Lauren and I run Archie's Animals Pet Sitting and Small Animal Boarding. I started the business after pet sitting for friends and found that I really enjoyed it. I have always adored animals and beilieve like most animal lovers that animals, like us, deserve love, care and respect as they offer us the same. Often, pets can give us that security and comfort that can't always be found in other places, which is why they are so important to us and our lives.

As a pet sitter I always aim to care for a pet in an extremely similar way to their owner and as the owner directs so that both pet and human friend are both happy and content with the arrangments.

Previous Experience

I have plenty of experience with animal care as I grew up with animals and always had them in my home with the responsibility of taking care of them.

Other experience includes:

-Helping on a farm
-Pet Sitting (including Dog Walking)
- Volentary Dog walking for animal shelter
-Volentary Cat socialising for animal shelter
-Fundraising for animal shelter
-Small Animal Boarding in my home
- Caring for my own friends!

I have cared for Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Ferrets, Guinea Pigs, Rats, Gerbils, Hamsters, Budgies, Ducks, Chickens, Donkeys, Fish (pond and tropical), Lizards and Giant African Land Snails.

Qualifications & Training

Full range of GCSEs from A* to C,
4 AS levels from A-C,
3 A levels from B-C.

I am constantly reasearching and reading about animals and pet care. I am also looking into taking a professional animal carer qualification and a canine psychology and care diploma later this year.

As a fully qualified martial arts instructor, I am fully CRB qualified.

And the most important qualification is... I love animals!

Other Services

As well as a day time pet care service, I offer an overnight option (subject to availability) where I can either drop into your home for a small time or stay at your home for the night to comfort your pet and for security.

I also offer a small animal boarding service at my home in Filton if owners would like their little friend to stay in a reliable and loving home enviornment whilst they are away.
