About Me/ Company

My name is Ian Lockwood and I live with Suzan, my partner of 30 years and our 8 year old rescue Airedale Terrier Jess, that's her pictured, in a house that backs on to Rothwell Park in Leeds.
I've been a dog owner most of my life and have looked after family and friends dogs whilst they are on holiday or too ill to cope with walking their dogs.
I was a Regional Operations Manager and I decided that I wanted to escape the rat race and do the things that I enjoy most - being with dogs and walking the Yorkshire countryside. I wanted to set up a service for people who were in need of support for their pets, which I would have appreciated in my former busy working life. This combines my organisational and animal management skills.
I also worked for 8 years at Colchester Zoo, so I have experience with a wide variety of animals, some more challenging than others! So you can be assured that I have the ability, authority and skills to care for your pet and provide them with the companionship and fun they need.

Dog Walking From £10.00

Group, social walks or individual according to your needs. Maximum group size is strictly limited to 4. Muddy and wet paws will be attended to before leaving your pet back at home tired and refreshed from their outing.

Puppy Visits from £6.50 per 30 minutes

Your puppies should never be left alone for more than a couple of hours. Visits can include, toileting, feeding, playtime, introduction to exercises and of course cuddles. These visits break up the day and give puppy the physical and mental stimulation they need.

Relief and pop in visits. From £6.50 per 30 minutes

These are especially good for older pets or those animals that require medication while you are away from home.

Delayed at work?

We can also offer a pop in and let out service to clients if you are unexpectaedly delayed at work or whislt you are out for a while longer than planned. This could also incorporate a short walk and feeding. Just give us a call and we will do our best to fit you in.

This service is also available for cats and other pets who can be visited in their own home and fed whilst you are away without the hassle and expense of cat or small pet boarding.

Home Services from £6.50

Whilst you are away on holiday or a short break I can also rrange daily visits to look after your home to ensure that it is secure. Home visits include:
Watering plants
Bringing in mail and newspapers
Turning on and off lights
opening and closing blinds
